Community Hub
The Chetwynd Community Hub is at the heart of community life on Chetwynd Barracks. It provides a range of facilities, activities and support for Service personnel and their families.
The Hub
The Community Centre is located within The Hub, Building 17. The Hub is also home to the Chetwynd Barracks Welfare Team, Army Welfare Service Community Development Worker, Community Room, multi-faith area and Youth Centre.

The Community Room is the focus of many community events and activities at Chetwynd.

Family-friendly sessions providing opportunities for children and families to get involved.
Community Library
The Community Room also hosts a community library.
Youth Centre
Youth clubs are held in the Youth Centre for children and young people across a range of age groups.

Community Committee
The Chetwynd Community Committee gives members of the community an opportunity to have their say on what happens at Chetwynd.
The committee helps plan and deliver activities and events for the whole community, including family fun days, quiz nights, crafting sessions and more.
Want to get involved?
Meetings are held every other month on Wednesday evenings, 1900–2100, at the Welfare Hub.
Nibbles are provided and you are welcome to bring along a bottle.
Community activities, clubs and events rely on volunteers from the community.
